A great little escape from the usual Vegas chaos—no crowds, no overpriced gimmicks, just a place that actually gets the basics right. Food is consistently solid and, more importantly, exactly how you order it. Sunny side up eggs are actually sunny side up, and a rare steak shows up rare—not raw, not “chef’s interpretation,” just right. It’s weirdly refreshing. Staff are spot on—friendly and attentive without popping by every two minutes to ask how your first bite is going. You get looked after without the performance. And the pastries? Easily a highlight. Worth the visit on their own. Overall, a place that skips the nonsense and just delivers good food and a relaxed vibe. Hard to complain about that.

Located in the vibrant Downtown East neighborhood, Publicus is widely considered the "gold standard" of Las Vegas coffee shops. More than just a cafe, it is a meticulously designed urban canteen that feels like a curated art gallery for food and caffeine lovers. The Coffee & Craft Publicus takes its beans seriously, offering a sophisticated multi-roaster program. Signature Sips: The Leche de Madre is a legendary local favorite—a rich, slightly sweet, and creamy latte that is impossible to replicate. Their Cold Brew and Gibraltars are also top-tier for purists. Visual Appeal: Every drink is served with precision, often in unique glassware that matches the industrial-wood aesthetic. Elevated Canteen Fare The kitchen outperforms almost any standard cafe in the city. Londoner Sandwich: A savory masterpiece featuring soft scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheddar on a brioche bun. Avo-Toast & Shakshuka: Publicus puts a premium spin on these classics, using high-quality sourdough and vibrant, fresh spices. Mahalo Burger: For those seeking a heartier lunch, this burger is a consistent standout. The Atmosphere The space is a masterclass in industrial-organic design, featuring communal wooden tables, hanging plants, and plenty of natural light. It is an ideal spot for a creative meeting or a focused study session, though it does get quite busy on weekends. Quick Tip: Parking can be tight directly in front, so look for street parking on the side streets. Also, keep an eye on their rotating pastry case for seasonal treats!

Super friendly folks that work here! Explained what each drink was and even gave us samples before ordering. Food did not disappoint, bento had all kinds of flavors that meshed well. Corned beef hash bowl was also super flavorful. Need to come back to try other drinks and pastries.

We came here before we left Vegas to go home, it was busy, but great customer service from everyone. We had an issue with one it off the two meals not coming out on time and not hot, after a discussion with the floor manager, he took amazing care to resolve the issue and the food came out perfect and quickly after. The gluten free bread and pecan cake is great. The non-gf biscuits and gravy, to die for. Shaken oat milk espresso was great too. What was a near failure of a visit turned into an excellent experience. Thank you again.

PublicUs is exactly what I hope to find when traveling: a vibrant third-wave coffee shop with great coffee, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The vibe is upbeat with subtle Japanese-inspired influences woven throughout the space. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. Despite a steady flow of customers, my order was taken and delivered in what felt like four minutes or less. A special shoutout to Bailey, who took the time to explain the menu and helped me select the perfect chocolate bar to take on my flight home. Ezra made the experience feel surprisingly personal, ensuring everything was taken care of and somehow always appearing at the right moment to refill my water before I even thought to ask. I was the VIP for my hour visit. That level of attentiveness is rare. The coffee was exceptional. My mocha latte with an extra shot was perfectly balanced—rich espresso, smooth texture, and just the right amount of chocolate without overpowering the coffee. Damian was absolutely working magic with the portafilter and steam wand. Every drink coming out looked like it belonged in a specialty coffee magazine. The pastry case deserves its own mention. It was filled with an impressive assortment of sinfully tempting baked goods, and judging by what I saw coming out of the kitchen, there isn’t a bad choice on the menu. I was only in Las Vegas for a few days, but finding PublicUs was one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re visiting Vegas and searching for a true third-wave coffee experience with exceptional service and food to match, stop looking. PublicUs is the spot.

This place is so quirky in the best way! It looks like your neighborhood bakery but an asian aunty decorated it. We ordered the shakshuka, Mahalo bento, piri piri chicken sandwich, and bread pudding. Omg... the bread pudding is one of the best things I've had the entire trip. We got a parking ticket while we were eating here but the food was so good that it was worth it 🥲.

A cute cafe with really good coffee and surprisingly various options of brunch menu. Here for Saturday brunch after CES just over, expected for a long line, but it went pretty fast. The staff here are nice and efficient. Shalom is very nice and friendly. Love the smoked salmon toast here with mouthwatering salad (the vinaigrette dressing is great). The patty flavor is good but unfortunately overcooked and a bit dry. Gotta give the coffee here a thumbs up. Tried latte and mint and cream coffee, both are smooth and scrumptious. Pretty easy parking even on a Saturday. Will come back soon to their bento which looks soooo good from our next table.

This has to be one of my absolute favorite places to go for brunch. Only downfall is it gets very busy however the food is some of the best that I could ever ask for. I love to bring friends and family, especially from out of state over here to enjoy the ambience as well as the incredible flavors. Their bakery is absolutely barn on the best. They have unbelievable banana, breads, cookies, pastries, muffins, etc. In addition, their menu is vast and offers a wide range of flavors with Mexican, American, Asian flair. The inside of the restaurant is so adorable they have live trees planted throughout as well as so many cute decorations. Absolutely love coming here.

Such a nice vibe. Food is great too. Lots of options to try out for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We had an avocado toast, matcha raspberry cruffin, shakshuka, dark chocolate mocha and hazelnut latte. Enjoyed everything. We parked for free on the street across. Food comes by pretty quickly. Food quality is top notch. Ambience is perfect. If you love cafes, I highly recommend visiting here.
